Effect of 50 mM DTT on G6PDH activity in the pAY162 transformant E. coli DF214 cells. A 10,000 × g supernatant is used as enzyme solution. No DTT exposed supernatant was used as the positive control. For the other supernatants, 50 mM DTT was added for 5, 10 and 30 mins before activity measurements. Specific activities were given as mean of three independent measurements
