Phylogenetic tree showing interrelationships of strain NCCP-36^T with closely related species of Lysinibacillus and other related genera inferred from 16S rRNA gene sequences. The tree was generated using the neighbor-joining (NJ) method based on a comparison of approximately 1,324 nucleotides and was rooted using Paenibacillus polymyxa (D16276) as an outgroup. Bootstrap values (>50 %), expressed as percentage of 1,000 replications, are indicated at the nodes. Nodes denoted by open circles were recovered by at least two algorithms, whereas nodes denoted with filled circles were recovered by three algorithms (NJ, maximum parsimony and maximum likelihood).
