From: Expression of bacteriocin divercin AS7 in Escherichia coli and its functional analysis
The agar diffusion test for recombinant bacteriocin AS7. E. coli/pET-AS7 lysates (20 μl) prepared from IPTG-induced culture after 2 h (1–8) were plated on LZ agar inoculated with Listeria innocua indicator strain and incubated overnight at 30 °C. Growth inhibition zones indicate action of recombinant bacteriocin AS7. The inset shows positive control (1 diluted native bacteriocin AS7) and E. coli/pET-28b+ lysate (2 negative control)
